#FAnews | GrowthRing & Supply Teams Up With HOAX and SANDERS for Special Collaboration
Hong Kong fashion brand GrowthRing & Supply (GRS) has partnered with Hong Kong shoe store HOAX and British shoe brand SANDERS to launch an exclusive collection. This collaboration features a special edition of SANDERS' iconic Military Collection "Broad Arrow" shoes, introducing an Ebony Brown colorway of Penny Loafers, along with earth-tone items.
SANDERS' Military Collection is inspired by the service shoes used by the British Army, with the Broad Arrow detail being particularly popular. The history of the Broad Arrow dates back to the 17th century when it symbolised royal and government property, and it can still be seen on manhole covers in some parts of Hong Kong today. In this collaboration, the Broad Arrow is sewn onto the Penny Loafers, which feature Goodyear Welted construction with an Itshide Commando Sole. The Ebony Brown leather is produced by the renowned Spanish tannery Picusa, reminiscent of the luster and sophistication of Cigar Shell Cordovan leather.
To complement this collection, GRS has also launched limited-edition earth-tone items, including the "Kowloon" hand-sewn cap made of corduroy and leather, and the "Kowloon/Tokyo" zip-up cardigan. This cardigan is inspired by the traditional Canadian cardigan, featuring dragon head and vine weaving patterns designed by Japanese graphic designer Yu Miyama on the back.
The collaboration series is now available in limited quantities on the GRS official website, and the SANDERS shoes are also available on the HOAX online store.
